Her bright white-and-teal sign and adorable avatar are hard to miss if you’ve been to the Norco Farmers Market. Christina Von Klopka meets you with a smile, her freshly baked sweets drawing you in. Sweets by Christina K is this home bakers dream come true and she is sharing her skills at pop-up events in the Norco area.
“I have always been a baker, especially being a stay-at-home mom to eight kids,” Christina shares. “Baking with my kids when they were smaller was some of the best moments.”

Christina is no stranger to stay-at-home businesses. Over the years, she has tried many different things – she says she likes to stay busy. “I love being busy and creating things whether it is crafting, baking or whatever else sparks my creativity,” Christina says. “Three years ago, I learned about setting up a home bakery and being able to sell at markets and to the general public.”
With a new spark ignited, Christina started her bakery in 2022. “When the opportunity came to start a home bakery it really checked all the boxes for me, I love creating new things, interacting with customers and getting to meet so many people in our community.”
Lucky for us she did too, because her treats are not to be missed.

Norco Woman Sells Baked Goods From the Heart
For Christina, it’s a labor of love. Not just for baking, but for the people she serves. “The thing I love most is seeing customers excited when they see something I have baked,” she says. “I am not a fancy baker, or good at decorating. I am more of an old-fashioned like, ‘your grandma’s recipes’ type of baker. I have found that this resonates with customers so much more than just baking what’s on trend or something that looks amazing but the taste isn’t on the same level.”
When asked what her favorite baked good is, Christina says lemon cookie or peach hand pies. And when it comes to what are best sellers from her customers, she says, “the number one favorite is lemon cookie by far, I would say close second would be my peanut butter and jelly cookie. The banana bread is also a best seller.”

She does change up what she is offering, so each time to visit you will probably have new things to try, along with crowd favorites. “Usually I decide what to make the weekend before the market,” she says. “I have a large rotation of items I offer and usually do a new combination every week. I do have my most popular items that I make every week as well.”
You can find her treats at the Norco Farmers Market, other pop-up events or even invite her to your next event! You can also special order from her for hone pick-up via her Instagram or email christinaklopka@gmail.com. She can do gluten-free items on request.
