Voted California Winery of the Year at the California State Fair 2025, Europa Village Resort & Winery is a good place to start. This unique winery will transport you to three villages inspired by old-world Spain, Italy and France. Truly an experience, they have wine tastings, tours, accommodations, European cuisine and more. Their vineyard is planted with European-style varietal grapes, carefully curated into award-winning wines. Their tasting menu rotates, so there is always something new to try!

Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyards

35960 Rancho California Road, Temecula

This Temecula winery is all about family. The 90-acre vineyard is picturesque, earning it many filming credits, including “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” “Beauty and the Geek,” and more. Wilson Creek wines has sparking, rose, red and white varieties. They are open seven days a week for tastings and they also give tours on the weekends. No reservations needed for tastings, but tours do require a reservation.

Monte De Oro Winery

Monte De Oro Winery in Temecula has over 300 accolades, including Platinum, Double Gold, Gold and more. They take pride in their vineyard management practices, which they believe is key to a great wine. Their Temecula winery has a tasting room and bistro. They hold monthly events, including live music on Sundays and bingo.

Bottaia Winery

35601 Rancho California Road, Temecula

If you want to really get a look into winemaking, Bottaia Winery should be on your list of vineyards to visit. A unique feature at this Temecula winery is their Wine Blending Lab. Here, you get to bottle, cork, capsule and take home your own blend! It’s a truly fun experience. In addition, they have a sparkling pool, club member lounge and a few tasting options to choose from.

Wiens Cellars

35055 Via Del Ponte, Temecula

With over 30 varieties of grapes, Wiens Cellars is known for reds, whites, blends and sparkling wines. They have limited production and reserve wines that are definitely worth a taste. Their tasting menu has a nice range of options for every palate. Aside from tastings in the tasting room, they also have a tasting experience in the cellar room and offer winery tours, where you can go behind-the-scenes and see their process. Weins Cellars has a calendar of events with live music and other happenings.

Fazeli Cellars

37320 De Portola Road, Temecula

The Fazeli Cellars wines are produced from their estate vineyard and select local growers. They use French, Hungarian and American barrels for aging their red wines. Their wines have won many awards in the last decade, in national and international competitions. They also have white, rose, sparkling wines and even a port-style. Fazelli Cellars has a couple of options for wine tastings and tours, including their deluxe tour that gives you an overview of their process.

Ponte Winery

If part of your visit includes a stay, you may want to think about the Ponte Winery. They have a Spanish-style inn with a pool, restaurant, bar and a concierge who can help you plan any local activities you are looking for during your stay. But, of course, you came here for the wine first and foremost! This Temecula winery offers a 6-wine tasting.  

Halter Ranch

41300 Ave Biona, Temecula

Halter Ranch is a unique winery that is actually located in Paso Robles, on a 2,700-acre organic nature estate. The grapes – growing on 237 of the acres – are 100% organically farmed. It was founded by Hansjörg Wyss, a world-leading land conservationist from Switzerland. Their environmentally-friendly practices extend to the making of the wine, so definitely ask about their multi-level gravity flow system. They host events throughout the year at the Temecula location, with a tasting room that is walk-in only, no reservations.

Callaway Vineyard & Winery

No Temecula wine tasting tour would be complete without a stop at Callaway Vineyard & Winery. Established in 1974, Callaway Vineyard & Winery was the first Temecula Valley winery! Learn their history, which started a trend, which grew into a world-class destination for wine tasting, while enjoying a wine tasting and a tour.
