Rhythm in Action – A Celebration of Juneteenth

This free immersive experience blends storytelling, live music, and celebration of Black culture and community legacy. In partnership with Empower You Edutainment, this program will feature dynamic musical performances, spoken word, and real-life stories highlighting local leaders from the Homegrown Heroes Exhibition. 11 am -1 pm: A family-friendly scavenger hunt and a crafts corner. 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm: Performances that spotlight the incredible stories of our Homegrown Heroes. Come out and celebrate the varying aspects of Black culture this Juneteenth and learn more about the brazen historic impact and triumphs of the Black community in America.
